Encore AI raises $30M to build AI agents that learn from customer calls
Encore AI
Encore AI, a startup using customer interaction analysis to train AI voice agents, raised $30M in Series A led by Team8. Its agents replicate successful employee playbooks, and the company plans to expand US sales.
Encore AI, which started as Insait IO in 2022, has rebranded and raised $30 million in a Series A round led by Team8. The company analyzes customer interactions—calls, emails, texts—and CRM data to identify successful approaches, then uses them to train AI agents. These agents can operate autonomously or assist sales and support teams, even mimicking jokes or anecdotes used by top performers. Encore claims over 40 enterprise customers, mostly financial institutions, and says its annual recurring revenue has grown more than 5x since its seed round. Competitors like Salesforce and HubSpot may build similar features, but Encore argues that leveraging conversational history requires a fundamental platform shift. Investors Planven, Lukatz, Garage, and some banks also participated. The funds will be used to expand US sales and deploy with more large financial institutions.
