70% of employers use AI in hiring or plan to do so

A survey by consulting company get experts, conducted with platforms 'Jun' and 'Sobeso', reveals that 49% of companies already use AI in recruitment, and another 21% plan to. Most employers use AI for writing job descriptions, transcribing interviews, and screening candidates. Candidates are wary: 44% lose interest in a vacancy upon detecting AI usage.
The consulting firm get experts, together with the response analysis platform 'Jun' and the interview service 'Sobeso', surveyed 1007 respondents (524 professionals and 483 employers) across regions and industries. Among employers, 49% use AI for recruitment automation: 14% actively on several stages and 35% for specific tasks, while 7% tried and abandoned it, and 44% do not use it, of whom 21% plan to do so soon. The most time-consuming recruitment stages were cold search (67%), review of responses (53%), candidate assessment (39%), interview coordination (24%), and vacancy profile creation (11%). AI is most often used for writing job descriptions (64%), transcribing and analyzing interviews (36%), generating personalized letters (31%), initial screening (29%), and ranking candidates (29%). 30% of employers see a positive effect from AI, 32% rather positive, while 3% see a negative effect. 55% note a reduction in routine tasks. Spending on AI recruitment automation is below 500 thousand rubles per year for 68% of employers. Among candidates, 61% encountered chatbots, 53% automatic letters, and 41% automated skills tests. 44% of candidates have a reduced interest in a vacancy upon detecting AI, and 9% stop participating. Only 3% view AI use positively. Candidates used AI for writing cover letters (43%), creating resumes (43%), preparing for interviews (30%), and analyzing vacancies (17%). The main concerns are incorrect assessment of experience (76%), inability to appeal decisions (46%), lack of human touch (45%), data leak risks (30%), and misunderstanding of AI algorithms (26%). 55% of professionals believe the time when employer AI evaluates AI-optimized candidate profiles has already come or will come in 1-2 years.
