Selectel and KTS unveil corporate AI assistant for internal documents and knowledge bases

Selectel, an independent IT infrastructure provider, and KTS, a digital business development partner, have presented a joint solution based on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), an approach that allows AI to use data from internal company sources when generating responses. The solution is a corporate AI assistant for intelligent document search and analysis, helping employees quickly find information, solve work tasks, and draft documents without manual searching across various systems. The product targets companies wanting to quickly and securely implement generative AI in workflows and suits common scenarios such as working with scattered internal knowledge bases, technical and project documentation, contracts, regulations, and other corporate documents. The AI assistant processes natural language requests, analyzes information from different systems, and produces structured answers with references to original sources. It also automatically creates brief file summaries, highlights key points, obligations, and risks, drafts documents, and saves results in Word and PDF formats. Security is built into the architecture on multiple levels: the system automatically masks sensitive data in queries, and built-in guardrails check AI queries and responses against security policies. The product can integrate with access management systems (IAM and SSO), respects user rights, and gives administrators tools to monitor and control output quality. The assistant can be deployed in the Selectel cloud or on the customer's premises, with Selectel providing leased GPU servers placed at the client's site for the latter. Deployment takes about two weeks via the KTS AI Platform, including connecting corporate data sources and customizing the assistant. Maria Sedelnikova, Selectel's head of technology partnerships development, said companies are seeking ready-made AI solutions that can be quickly adopted and safely used, and the partnership combines a finished product with infrastructure and expertise. Ivan Lavrov, KTS's AI direction head, noted that corporate AI is moving to systemic implementation where data architecture, access control, search quality, answer verifiability, and workflow integration matter more than model choice, viewing AI agents as a manageable layer for corporate knowledge that can evolve with company needs.
