Taotian Group Opens 2027 Graduate Recruitment: AI Technical Positions Account for Over 90%

Alibaba's Taotian Group (Taobao and Tmall) has initiated campus recruitment for 2027 graduates, targeting those graduating between November 1, 2026, and October 30, 2027. The recruitment covers three job categories: AI technology, AI product, and AI design, with AI technical positions constituting over 90% of the openings. Core roles include AI application R&D engineer, AI Agent optimization engineer (data/training/evaluation), and AI application algorithm engineer. Applications can be submitted starting August 5 through Alibaba Group's campus recruitment website, Taotian Group's recruitment portal, and its WeChat account. Offers are expected to be distributed from late October, with work locations in Hangzhou and Beijing. Taotian stated it continues to increase AI investment, offering tailored career paths for new hires to grow from 'technology implementers' to 'intelligent system architects.' Recent AI initiatives include the launch of the 'business manager' (生意管家) tool on Taobao in March, the AI customer service product 'AI shop assistant' (AI店小蜜) in May, and the integration of Taobao and Qianwen. In July, Taotian unveiled four technological achievements under its AIGX system, including the multimodal real-time Agent 'PaiLiTao' and the all-scenario AI creation workbench if Studio. Additionally, during the 'Hardcore Youth Technology Festival 5.0,' a team of four interns won the AI Hackathon with their 'elderly-friendly family decision Agent' project. The company also awarded the 'Golden Code Award' to 20 participants among over 1,000 employees who showcased AI integration skills, promoting 'AI running on the main road' and encouraging AI-native practices.
