1B Parameters vs π0: Chinese Team Tops Embodied Intelligence Ranking with Lightweight Model

Chinese company Youibot (优艾智合) has ranked first in the global Evo-SOTA embodied intelligence leaderboard with its FabriVLA model, surpassing models such as π0. FabriVLA has only 1 billion parameters but achieved a tier-average success rate of 90.0% on the Meta-World MT50 benchmark, which includes 50 different tasks (grasping, placing, opening doors, insertion, and extraction). Key architectural innovations of the model include a gated self-attention mechanism and fusion of high-level and low-level visual features, which ensure action sequence consistency and operational precision. Ablation tests confirmed the contribution of each innovation. Youibot has also introduced the industrial system FabriX, which is not just a VLA but a dual Edge+Local architecture: FabriX-Edge, a multi-functional MoE model based on industrial data, handles planning and coordination, while FabriX-Local uses deterministic physical control priorities and affordance data for safe motion execution. FabriX incorporates distillation of deterministic priorities and a "dual-loop verification" (model inference + rule checking) to avoid AI hallucinations. Based on FabriX, the industrial humanoid robot "Xifeng" (隙锋) has been created, capable of starting factory work the day after training and autonomously collecting data for self-learning. Youibot has 9 years of implementation experience in the semiconductor, energy chemical, and lithium-ion battery industries, with over 800 real-world deployments. The company announced a plan to equip 10,000 industrial facilities within three years, and the first order for Xifeng totaled 4,000 units.
