Russian IT company ZeBrains has unveiled ZeVision, an AI platform for computer vision designed to automate visual inspection across manufacturing, warehouse, and retail sectors. The platform consists of modular frameworks that can be flexibly configured and extended: Recognition Engine for two-stage object detection and classification, Dataset Framework for rapid dataset preparation using synthetic images and automated labeling, Camera & Equipment API for integrating existing hardware and corporate systems, Event & Alert module for managing incident responses, Data Storage for analytics dashboards, and Administration Console for web-based management. ZeVision addresses three main areas: quality control, accounting, and safety, with applications across industries like conveyor production, logistics, retail, and construction. The platform has been deployed in several projects: for a logistics operator, it identifies cargo with lost labels with over 87% accuracy for oversized items; for a major retailer, it recognizes labels at goods receiving using OCR and VLM, reducing verification time from minutes to seconds; for a medical laboratory, it determines blood hemolysis levels from photos of tubes, cutting sample rejection by 70%; for a manufacturer of lifting equipment, it controls assembly completeness with 300+ parts, reducing errors by 98%; and for a container logistics operator, it tracks container positioning in real time.
