OpenCode reported running 8 trillion tokens of DeepSeek Flash on their platform in a single day. Overseas intermediaries are piling on subsidies: Nous Portal offered a 90% discount on V4 Flash for seven days, making it over a thousand times cheaper than Fable 5, while Cline, an open-source coding agent, tripled its free tier after discovering the usage costs were surprisingly low. The model's performance surged after a retraining on July 31st, with DeepSWE scores jumping from 7.3 to 54.4, Cybergym reaching 76.7, and Terminal Bench 2.1 hitting 82.7, while the Artificial Analysis intelligence index rose to 50, surpassing DeepSeek's own V4 Pro.
