New Reducer Maker Secures Over 100 Million Yuan in Funding, Valuation Exceeds 1 Billion Yuan

TaoShi Intelligent Technology, a precision reducer company, has completed a 140 million yuan funding round, pushing its valuation past 1 billion yuan. The company supplies components to Foxconn and leading dexterous hand manufacturers, and has signed supply agreements for 100,000 joint modules over the past year. The funds will support product R&D, production line expansion, and robotics market growth.
TaoShi Intelligent Technology, a Shenzhen-based precision reducer company founded in 2016, has completed a 140 million yuan funding round with participation from Qianhai Financial Holdings, Guangzhou State Holding, Haichuan Juyi, and Hangzhou Zhongshen, with Dentel Capital as financial advisor. The funds will be used for product R&D, production line expansion, and robotics market development. The company specializes in orthogonal 90-degree micro reducers and robot joint modules, with its core product being a micro enveloping worm gear reducer that integrates reduction and angle adjustment. TaoShi's products have entered the supply chains of Foxconn, Lens Technology, Yingwei Technology, and other firms, and it has signed supply agreements for 100,000 joint modules for dexterous hands, with clients including LingXin QiaoShou and others. The financing follows growing demand from the humanoid robot industry, where actuators and sensors account for over 60% of costs. Unlike traditional harmonic, RV, or planetary reducers, TaoShi uses a unique enveloping worm gear design that improves load capacity and stability. The company has developed its own manufacturing system, including a 7-axis, 5-link grinding solution, achieving a 40% reduction in size and precision of ±0.5 arc minutes. Initially focused on industrial automation, TaoShi entered the aerospace sector in 2024 and shifted focus to robot joint modules in 2025. The company has a production base of about 20,000 square meters, with an annual output value of 500 million yuan, and plans to expand capacity to 1-1.5 million key modules per year. In an interview, founder Tao Yulong explained that the biggest challenge was building a complete industrialized system from design to manufacturing and validation, rather than any single component.
