AWS Partners with Vibe-Coding Startup Superblocks for Secure Private Cloud Deployment

Superblocks, a startup specializing in vibe coding, announced a multi-year joint marketing agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) that allows its tool to be embedded within the private clouds of AWS customers. This means that enterprises subscribing to Superblocks can offer vibe coding to their business users, with apps running entirely within the company's private cloud, using Amazon Aurora databases and integrating with Amazon Bedrock. Importantly, data will never leave the enterprise's AWS account, ensuring security, auditing, encryption, and network controls are maintained. AWS will also help sell Superblocks to enterprises through its Marketplace. This partnership comes as hyperscalers like AWS and Microsoft encourage enterprises to adopt multiple AI models and host their AI infrastructure on their own clouds, rather than relying solely on frontier AI providers. Superblocks' CEO Brad Menezes predicts that enterprises betting on a single model provider will face consequences, as the industry shifts toward multi-model strategies. The trend is evidenced by open models accounting for 29% of traffic through Vercel's AI gateway last month. Superblocks, which has 50 employees and raised $60 million in Series A funding in May 2025, is seen as a beneficiary of this movement.
