SAKURA internet invests ¥26 billion in generative AI infrastructure, procures NVIDIA next-gen GPUs
Japanese cloud service provider SAKURA internet announced a ¥26 billion investment to purchase GPU servers and equipment for generative AI services, including NVIDIA HGX Rubin NVL8 GPU systems. The funds will be raised mainly through loans, with equipment delivery expected by January 2027.
