Samsung accelerates development of its own humanoid robots

Samsung Electronics is intensifying its work on humanoid robots, leveraging its vast data resources and advanced electronics expertise. The company has established a dedicated Robotics eXperience (RX) division and is building a new data center to support AI training.

Chinese makers accounted for 97% of global humanoid robot shipments in H1 2026

Bloomberg reports, citing Smart Analytics Global, that Chinese companies supplied about 97% of humanoid robots globally in the first half of 2026. Total shipments rose 272% year-on-year to over 19,000 units, with Shanghai-based Agibot leading the market at 44% share.
