Notably, Democratic Party structures spent $54,165 on AI, three times more than Republican structures, which spent $15,782. The data excludes scenarios of using free AI accounts and access to AI systems within software procurement contracts. Congressional staff use ChatGPT and other services for writing memos, creating summaries, analyzing bills, responding to constituents, processing political research, and drafting social media posts.
