SpaceXAI has introduced Grok Bot, an agent service that runs on its own cloud computer to handle multi-step workplace tasks autonomously. Available in beta for certain subscribers, it competes with OpenAI’s ChatGPT Work and Anthropic’s Claude Cowork. The bots can learn workflows, communicate with each other, and pick up work proactively.
SpaceXAI announced Grok Bot, an always-on AI agent service designed as independent “AI teammates” that can complete workplace tasks. The bots use their own cloud-based computer environment, can log into existing apps and tools, and return only when a task is done or needs approval. It builds on an internal prototype used for sales, marketing, office operations, and bug fixes. Users can assign work via chat from phone or desktop; multiple bots can run in parallel, with one managing others. They can message each other to share context and work in group chats. The bots learn workflows, retain context on user habits, follow up on dropped chats, and become more proactive. Grok Bot is available in beta on desktop and iOS for SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra, and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers, with a waitlist for teams and enterprise users.
