Sberbank Unveils Autonomous Universal AI Agent 'GigaAgent'

Sberbank announced GigaAgent, an autonomous universal AI agent designed for everyday tasks like managing calendars, working with documents, handling correspondence, researching information, and creating reports and presentations. It is positioned as Russia's answer to foreign solutions such as OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, and NemoClaw. The agent distinguishes itself by three key properties: autonomy (it works 24/7 and proactively asks clarifying questions), self-development (it can read and rewrite its own source code, with changes committed to a built-in Git repository), and continuity (it retains context between sessions). The agent's architecture is based on the Ouroboros self-developing AI agent project by AIRI researchers, developed jointly with Sberbank. On benchmarks, the agent scored 86.97% on Terminal Bench 2.1 for Anthropic's Opus 5 model. GigaAgent uses only domestic platforms for data storage and processing, such as Agents Space.
