Russian AI platform Wegosty has raised 23 million rubles from a group of strategic investors, including founders of well-known tech companies and former executives of major travel firms. The round was closed through the SberUnity venture platform, and the new investors will collectively hold 20.57% of the startup. The funds will be used to scale the platform and expand its sales network.
The Russian AI platform Wegosty, created in 2025 for the hospitality industry, has closed an investment round of 23 million rubles. Four private investors participated: the co-founder of the delivery service Samokat, the CEO of the hotel IT platform Bnovo (part of the Smartway and 1C group), Konstantin Stepanenko, founder of MIL Team and CompressaAI projects and head of the machine intelligence laboratory at MIPT Alexey Goncharov, private investor Evgeny Stepanov, and former head of Intourist and Amadeus Russia Leonid Marmer. After the round, their combined stake will be 20.57%. The startup found investors through the SberUnity venture investment platform, which connects startups with investors and large businesses directly. Wegosty is an AI platform for restaurants, hotels, and tourism, automating the entire guest journey from first contact to booking and payment. It includes an AI receptionist for 24/7 call and message handling, an online booking and payment system, guest acquisition tools, and a mobile gastro-navigator. The product integrates with industry systems like iiko and Bnovo. The company aims to help HoReCa businesses get more bookings with lower operational costs and create a unified independent AI infrastructure for the Russian market. The round is strategic, as the team sought not only capital but also management expertise. According to founder Roman Tyan, the funds will be used to scale technologies, build a federal sales network, develop the AI receptionist, expand integrations, automate handling of over 100 B2B leads monthly, and launch a federal agency network. The immediate business goal is to multiply revenue and prepare for scaling across Russia and CIS markets.
