Revenue of Online Schools Teaching Neural Network Skills Tripled in First Half of 2026

According to data from GetCourse, the revenue of online schools teaching neural network and AI skills in the first half of 2026 amounted to 640 million rubles, compared to 572 million rubles in the same period of 2025. The number of course purchases increased from 27,744 to 45,564. The number of such schools grew from 36 to 109, a threefold increase. The average check decreased from 20.6 thousand to 14 thousand rubles. The share of schools teaching AI for content creation (text, avatars, photos, videos, design) rose from 18.5% to 73%. Schools teaching AI from scratch increased from 19.3% to 39%. AI in marketing and sales courses grew from 15.1% to nearly 33%. AI implementation in business processes rose from 15.1% to 30%. Courses on creating AI assistants, chatbots, and agents grew from 15.1% to 28%. Prompting courses increased from 11.8% to 18%. Courses for neural network specialists reached 10.5%. AI for marketplace sellers grew from 3.4% to nearly 9%, and AI for everyday tasks and self-development reached 6%. Daria Naumova, director of external communications at GetCourse, noted that people are buying specific results, and new directions have emerged, such as AI for daily tasks and training professional neural network specialists.
