MetaMask has opened its non-custodial Agent Wallet to all users, enabling AI agents to autonomously trade, predict, stake, and more on decentralized platforms. Users control the seed phrase, set limits, and restrict protocols and operations, while MetaMask verifies each transaction for safety.
MetaMask has opened Agent Wallet, a non-custodial wallet for AI agents, to all users after testing it since June 2026. With it, agents can autonomously execute deals on decentralized platforms, make predictions on prediction markets, earn from staking, and perform other operations. Users control the seed phrase and can set limits and restrict the number of operations and protocols available to the agent. MetaMask also checks the safety of each transaction before it is executed, according to the company. Agent Wallet is compatible with agents such as OpenClaw, Codex, Claude Code, Hermes, OpenCode, and Cursor, and supports blockchains based on Ethereum, Solana, and Robinhood Chain. In early August 2026, Cloudflare announced crypto wallets for AI agents that would allow them to pay for purchases autonomously, with owners able to limit their agents' spending and payment goals.
