KION Music launches 'Real Chart' free of fully AI-generated tracks
In Russia, the streaming service KION Music has launched a new chart that excludes tracks fully generated by artificial intelligence. Named 'Real Chart', it is available on the main showcase of the streaming service on the website and in the app, while the previous chart version remains accessible. The update is implemented using the Slopless detector, which identifies AI-generated content with 83% accuracy.
Since late 2025, the music industry has seen a trend of increasing numbers of fully AI-generated tracks and AI artists overall. Such content has increasingly entered charts, taking up about 30%, causing competition with artists whose work is created through classical methods. KION Music decided to launch the 'Real Chart' – a section with the most popular singles that excludes compositions entirely made with AI tools. The selection will be updated regularly on a daily basis. The technical verification of the catalog is carried out using the Slopless detector, a browser extension that analyzes tracks for AI generation, with 83% accuracy. In case of disputed situations, the music editorial team of the streaming service conducts additional expertise and makes a verdict. The use of neural networks is allowed only as an auxiliary tool. Users have access to two versions of the chart: the new one and the general one without selection, giving the audience the right to choose not only content but also navigation method.
