Keep Launches Super AI Membership to Turn AI into a Service

Keep introduced Super AI Membership, offering AI-powered voice interaction during runs and personalized plans. The company aims to transition from content delivery to service delivery, following trends seen with Duolingo and Cursor, to drive new revenue growth after achieving its first annual profit in 2025.
Keep launched 'Super AI Membership' on China's National Fitness Day, integrating AI into workouts. In a trial run, the AI voice interaction feature allowed the user to ask questions mid-run, receive advice on pacing and form, and even get a metronome set to 175 beats per minute. The AI also refused to suggest fast food restaurants, demonstrating clear boundaries. The membership aims to cover the full exercise cycle: pre-workout planning, real-time adjustments, and post-workout analysis. Keep developed its own AI model, Keepace.ai, trained for sports safety, and leverages 14 billion real exercise records. The company just achieved its first annual profit in 2025. Similar strategies have worked for Duolingo with Duolingo Max and Cursor with its AI-native coding, suggesting AI as a service can drive new revenue. Keep's AI coach 'Kaka' has already generated personalized plans for over 1.3 million users, with voice companion sessions exceeding 21 million calls. The fourth stage, convincing users to pay, is just beginning.
