Honor has announced the launch of the Honor Robot Phone, a revolutionary smartphone that opens a new category of mobile devices by combining engineering innovations in robotics, embodied AI, professional filming technologies, and flagship specifications. The device is the first product from a strategic technology partnership between Honor and ARRI, featuring a 200 MP main camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor, f/1.6 aperture, and support for 10-bit ARRI LogC3 in ARRI Cinema mode, along with a 200 MP periscope telephoto camera with 2.7x optical zoom and a 50 MP ultra-wide camera with a 122° field of view. The first industry smartphone with a titanium 4DoF gimbal, the Honor Titanium Agile Gimbal, reduces system size by 65% while increasing structural strength by 200%, with a 2.6g titanium drive allowing camera control speeds up to 360 degrees per second. AI technologies improve video signal-to-noise ratio by 8 dB and provide up to 14 stops of dynamic range, with processing in RAW domain at 14-bit 4:4:4 and output of 10-bit LogC3 4:2:2 video. The phone supports AI-driven cinematic motion control including Tilt Lock, FPV, FPV Vertical, and AI SpinShot, plus a Yoyo Robot Mode with multimodal perception, gesture recognition, and voice source localization. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the device features a 7060 mAh silicon-carbon battery with 120W and 50W fast charging, and is the first Android phone with a full metal unibody. It includes a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED display with 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, peak brightness of 6800 nits, and 4320Hz PWM dimming.
