Google has unveiled Gemini 3.7 Flash, an AI model designed primarily for coding and AI agents. It outperforms rivals in the Code Arena test and comes with a temporary 50% price reduction until the end of 2026.
Google introduced the Gemini 3.7 Flash AI model, developed primarily for writing code and working with AI agents. The company says the new version is better at finding and fixing bugs and more often writes working code on the first attempt. The model also shows improved accuracy in finance, law, and biological sciences. In the Code Arena test, which assesses AI models' capabilities in web development, Gemini 3.7 Flash surpassed GPT-5.6 Terra from OpenAI and Claude Sonnet 5 from Anthropic. Compared to Gemini 3.6 Flash, the new model follows instructions more accurately and plans multi-step tasks more efficiently. Until the end of 2026, 1 million input tokens for Gemini 3.7 Flash will cost $0.75, and 1 million output tokens $3.75, which is half the initial price of Gemini 3.6 Flash. Gemini 3.7 Flash is available to developers via API, and to users as part of the Gemini Spark AI agent for subscribers of Google AI Pro and Ultra plans.
