AMD to deliver 'personal AI' keynote at IFA 2026, new Ryzen expected

AMD is set to deliver the opening keynote at IFA 2026, as announced by Jack Huynh, senior vice president and general manager of AMD's computing and graphics group. The presentation is scheduled for September 4 at 11:00 Berlin time (12:00 Moscow time). The theme of the talk is 'The Era of Personal AI: Future of Imagination'. Neither AMD nor IFA organizers have confirmed any product announcements, but the theme suggests that new Ryzen processors with AI support, hardware for local AI work, and possibly consumer devices will be unveiled. IFA, which started in 1924 as a radio electronics show, now covers a wide range of consumer electronics and home appliances, with a dedicated 'Computing and Gaming' zone for laptops, processors, graphics cards, monitors, and handheld systems. This makes IFA a suitable venue for announcing new AMD-based laptops. The company could use the event to announce new Ryzen processors based on the current Zen 5 architecture, but it is unlikely we will hear anything about Ryzen 500 (Zen 6) mobile chips or Radeon 10000 (RDNA 5) graphics cards.
