Amazon's Zoox becomes first in US to get permit for commercial robotaxi without steering wheel or pedals
Zoox, owned by Amazon, received approval from US regulators for limited commercial use of its robotaxis without traditional controls. The company, which currently provides free test rides in Las Vegas and San Francisco, can add up to 2,500 vehicles per year for two years.
