Lilian Weng, who left Thinking Machines Lab due to health reasons, has returned to OpenAI to lead a "self-evolving" team. She is the third of Thinking Machines Lab's six co-founders to rejoin OpenAI, leaving only CEO Mira Murati and Chief Scientist John Schulman.

ByteDance Restructures AI Business: Feishu and Doubao Volcano Teams Merge

ByteDance has initiated an organizational restructuring of its AI business, merging the Feishu product team with the Doubao product team. Additionally, the Feishu GTM team will be integrated with the Volcano Engine team to form a new ToB GTM organization.
