ByteDance Restructures AI Business: Feishu and Doubao Volcano Teams Merge

On July 30, ByteDance began organizational adjustments for its AI business. The Feishu product team will merge with the Doubao product team to form a new Doubao product team, led by Doubao head Zhao Qi, with Feishu head Xie Xin reporting to Zhao Qi. On the GTM (go-to-market) side, the Feishu GTM team will integrate with the Volcano Engine team to create a new ToB GTM organization called the Creativity Service Platform, which will oversee the marketing, sales, and customer service of ByteDance's MaaS and SaaS cloud services. This new organization will be led by Volcano Engine head Tan Dai, with Feishu sales head Lin Chan and Feishu strategy and marketing head Shi Zhijun reporting to Tan Dai.
