AMD Unveils X100 Chips on Zen 5 for Robots with 24/7 Operation and 10-Year Lifespan
AMD announced the X100 series of embedded processors based on the Zen 5 architecture with RDNA 3.5 graphics and an XDNA 2 neural processing unit for robotics. The chips are designed for a 10-year lifespan, have a TDP range of 45 to 120 W, and an operating temperature range of -40 to 105 °C. The flagship X199 model with 16 cores and 40 compute units demonstrated superiority over the Intel Core Ultra in tests, though the comparison was qualified.
