AI chip startup Etched, defying skeptics, reaches $10.3 billion valuation from major investors

Etched, an AI chip startup founded by three Harvard dropouts in 2022, raised $300 million in a Series C round at a $10.3 billion valuation. The company claims its systems can run any AI model, including Mixture of Experts and non-transformer architectures, and has already secured $1 billion in orders.
