Intel reports 15-year record revenue growth driven by AI boom

Intel reported Q2 revenue of $16.1 billion, up 25% year-over-year, the fastest growth since 2011, beating analyst expectations. Server segment revenue surged 59%, while the client segment grew 12.8%. Intel Foundry revenue rose 30.5% but posted a $2.1 billion operating loss. CEO Lip-Bu Tan highlighted strong AI-driven demand and improved profit margin of 40.4%.

Nativ: Running AI Models Locally on Mac

Developer Prince Canuma, creator of the MLX-VLM library, released the Nativ app for macOS that allows running AI models locally. The app provides a chat interface and an API server, and also finds already downloaded models from the Hugging Face cache.
