Silero has released two new TTS models covering 29 additional languages of Russia, mainly Turkic and Caucasian languages. The models support SSML and are optimized for high quality, but do not allow control over stress placement.

On August 3, Alibaba officially released its next-generation foundation model Qwen3.8, with a total of 2.4 trillion parameters, significantly improving capabilities in coding and professional office tasks. In the third-party Arena rankings released today, Alibaba's Qwen model is second only to Anthropic's Claude series. The Qwen3.8 API is now available on the Qianwen AI platform and integrated into Alibaba's new Agent product 'Qianwen Office'.
