The Next National-Level AI Product May Come From a Single Individual

On July 30, in Beijing's Wangjing SOHO, a roadshow for startups using the One Person Company (OPC) model was held, where 12 AI projects presented their ideas. The projects ranged from corporate risk assessment and browser agents to personal AI assistants, AI tool marketplaces, and independent games. These projects demonstrated that AI allows individuals to create products, but the main challenge now is converting product capability into users, delivery, and revenue. The event's judges, including investors and industry leaders, focused on business viability, customer acquisition, and scalability. Notably, on July 23, Beijing released a policy supporting the OPC model, aiming to provide elastic computing power, incubation, and other services to lower the cost of running a business for individuals. The final results of the evaluation are expected to be announced on August 3. Geek Tribe, the organizer, plans to continue supporting selected projects with office space and resources, and the next roadshow is scheduled for August.
