Tencent Hunyuan Introduces Hyra-1.0: The First Scientific AI Agent with Recursive Self-Improvement

Chinese company Tencent Hunyuan has announced Hyra-1.0, which is positioned as the first scientific AI agent with support for recursive self-improvement. The agent can automate the full cycle of scientific research: from generating hypotheses and writing experimental plans to conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, as well as adjusting hypotheses based on the results obtained. Thanks to the recursive improvement mechanism, Hyra-1.0 can continuously optimize its strategies, potentially accelerating scientific discoveries. The system is available via an API and is aimed at research laboratories and universities.
