The iRU Rock G2212IG6 is a 2U server platform from the Russian brand iRU, based on Intel Xeon 6 (Granite Rapids-SP) processors with TDP up to 350 W. It is an ODM platform from a Chinese vendor, but iRU provides local support, repair, and customization. The server supports up to 8 TB of DDR5 memory (32 slots), 12 LFF drives with optional all-NVMe configuration, and two OCP 3.0 slots for networking. The system tested featured dual Xeon 6517P processors (16 cores each), 64 GB DDR5-5600, Broadcom MegaRAID 9560-16i RAID controller, and dual 2000 W power supplies. Performance benchmarks showed typical results for the hardware. The BMC offers extensive management features including iKVM, 2FA, Redfish, and video recording. Drawbacks include the lack of Secure Boot in BIOS and some untranslated Chinese text in BMC, but overall the server is well-built and suitable for Russian customers requiring local support and service.
