Mistral AI has launched Vibe, a universal AI agent that combines work functions (email management, research, document preparation) and programming capabilities (code writing, refactoring, creating pull requests). The agent is available via web, mobile app, VS Code extension, and CLI. Le Chat has been renamed to Vibe, with all data migrated.
Mistral AI has introduced Vibe, a unified AI agent that combines work and programming capabilities, able to perform long, multi-step tasks. In Work Mode, the agent can manage email and calendars, conduct research, prepare documents and reports, schedule recurring tasks, and use enterprise tools (Google Workspace, Outlook, SharePoint, Slack, GitHub). In Code Mode, the agent handles development tasks: creating functions, fixing bugs, refactoring code, and forming pull requests. Integrations with VS Code (new Mistral Vibe extension) and CLI are available. The agent runs on Mistral's flagship models, optimized for reasoning, agentic tasks, tool calling, and coding. Vibe offers pricing tiers: Free, Pro ($14.99/month), Team ($24.99/user/month), and Enterprise. Le Chat users have been automatically migrated to Vibe with their history and plans preserved.
