Mineng Technology Secures Tens of Millions in Funding for Self-Developed SNN Brain-Like Chip
Chinese startup Mineng Technology, specializing in physiological brain-like chips, has completed a tens-of-millions RMB equity financing round led by Blue Bay Capital and Wuxi Venture Capital. The funds will be used for mass production of medical-grade standard modules, full-chain closed-loop physiological regulation system development, and ecosystem expansion. The company has developed an event-driven spiking neural network (SNN) brain-like core that mimics the asynchronous processing of the human brain, aiming to solve power consumption and latency issues in wearable medical devices.

The proceeds will be fully allocated to medical-grade standardized module mass production iteration, full-chain closed-loop physiological regulation system engineering implementation, and large-scale ecological import of national medical equipment manufacturers. The company focuses on upstream underlying computing infrastructure for medical devices, creating a native full-closed-loop platform from physiological sensing to event computation and safety regulation. It does not engage in terminal device manufacturing, instead providing standardized underlying capability packages that can be quickly integrated and adapted to clinical specifications. In 2025, this model has already generated large-scale revenue. The company self-developed an analog-digital hybrid spiking neural network (SNN) brain-like core, replicating the human brain's asynchronous working logic. The platform has an embedded physiological spike encoding mechanism that only activates computing power when characteristic mutations occur in physiological waveforms such as EEG, ECG, and EMG, enabling 7×24 continuous monitoring while solving power consumption pain points. The entire platform consists of three layers: a multimodal physiological sensing array, an event-driven brain-like computing core, and a medical-grade programmable regulation unit with multi-layer hardware security firewall. Mineng Technology has built a five-level ladder delivery system covering chips, modules, development kits, joint debugging, and registration support to address the varying R&D capabilities of clients. The company adopts a dual-track commercialization strategy of accelerating consumer medical and fortifying serious medical. It has already implemented mature pipelines for sleep autonomic nerve regulation, sports rehabilitation, and chronic pain home intervention, and is collaborating with multiple tertiary hospitals for clinical validation.
