Microsoft to Unify All Copilot Offerings into One AI Experience
Microsoft
Microsoft plans to consolidate its fragmented Copilot offerings into a single, unified AI assistant. The move aims to simplify the user experience by merging chatbots, coding assistants, Cowork, and autonomous agents like Autopilots into one interface.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella aims to overhaul Copilot by merging its disparate parts into a single AI experience. Currently, Copilot exists in many fragmented forms: separate chatbots, a coding assistant, the Cowork feature, and autonomous agents called Autopilots that are beginning to appear in Windows 11. For an average user, navigating these separate tools is a real obstacle course. Nadella intends to solve this problem by consolidating everything into one unified AI assistant.
