Chinese company Moonshot AI has announced the release of a new version of its Kimi model, which now has 330 billion parameters. Company founder Yang Zhilin shared details about the development process and current achievements in an interview with 36 Kr. According to him, the new version of Kimi shows a significant improvement in performance compared to the previous one. Yang Zhilin also stated that the company is already working on creating a model with a trillion parameters, which should be the next major step in AI development. He noted that achieving this goal will require significant computing resources and innovations in architecture. Moonshot AI plans to continue improving Kimi to compete with leading global models.
