Google DeepMind announced the launch of the Google DeepMind Accelerator: Robotics, a three-month program for early-stage robotics startups across Europe. The selected founders gathered in London to kick off the program, receiving hands-on support from Google DeepMind and Google experts. They gain access to the AI stack, technical mentorship, product guidance, and a network of partners. The cohort includes 15 startups from various European countries, focusing on fields like logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, climate, and advanced navigation. Examples include 3D-Components AS (Norway) developing RobTrack for robotic welding, Acumino (Greece) creating hardware-agnostic Physical AI, and Touchlab (United Kingdom) developing e-skin for robots. Each startup aims to accelerate development and scale responsibly.
