Lossless Scaling is an inexpensive $7 Steam application that uses AI for upscaling and frame generation, compatible with any games, unlike proprietary solutions. In the experiment, the RTX 3090 handled rendering only, while the RTX 3050 performed frame generation. Which game was used was not specified.
