Budget GeForce RTX 3050 helps flagship GeForce RTX 3090 reach 144 fps at 4K using Lossless Scaling utility. The tool offloads frame generation to the secondary card, doubling performance.
An enthusiast on Reddit used the Lossless Scaling utility with two GPUs: a Gainward GeForce RTX 3090 Phoenix as primary and an Asus Dual GeForce RTX 3050 OC Edition for frame generation. The RTX 3090 alone achieved 71 fps at 4K; with the RTX 3050 handling frame generation via Lossless Scaling, fps doubled to 144. Lossless Scaling supports any game or software and works even with integrated graphics, but discrete GPUs give best results.
