Fourthline and Veridas Join Forces Against Identity Fraud

Fourthline and Veridas are merging to form a bank-grade global identity platform that applies European compliance standards across all markets. The platform will combine Fourthline's sovereign AI technology and modular compliance solutions with Veridas' proprietary anti-fraud and biometric technologies, securing the entire customer lifecycle for major banks, fintechs, telecom operators, and digital players. This initiative responds to increasing demand for identification solutions driven by the proliferation of deepfakes and AI-based scams, as well as stricter legal standards such as the AMLR and MiCA in Europe. The combined offering will include KYC, anti-money laundering, identity verification, and infrastructure for expansion, covering services like ID&V, AML filtering and monitoring, qualified electronic signatures (QES), bank account verification (BAV), and biometric authentication. The companies plan to conduct 115 million verifications this year across more than 50 countries. The merger is expected to be finalized in the second half of 2026, with gradual integration of technologies while maintaining customer support.
