Zeng Xunxun, formerly of Moonshot AI, launched Liangpei, an AI-driven dating platform targeting serious relationships. The company secured a $2 million angel investment from Xu Xin of Today Capital. Liangpei's AI assists users in creating detailed profiles via a 20-minute voice call with an 'AI matchmaker', generating an average of 463 characters per profile, compared to 132 on traditional platforms. The platform uses a dedicated matching model analyzing deep personal traits beyond basic tags, and offers features like AI avatars to handle sensitive questions and an 'AI advisor' for conversation tips. Liangpei enforces strict filters: real-name authentication, face recognition, AI profile scoring (minimum 70), and marital status check, blocking over 50 married users in the first week. The platform implements a 1v1 matching mechanism, allowing only one match at a time to foster serious interactions. Its 'marriage guarantee' plan offers a full refund if users don't marry within three years, leveraging the fact that 70% of couples who meet via platforms marry within that period, based on a survey of 150 couples. The app is live on WeChat mini-program, with a native app coming soon.
