Baidu Kunlunxin M100 Debuts: Fully Domestic Rival to NVIDIA H20

Baidu has demonstrated its new AI chip, the Kunlunxin M100, for the first time at an exhibition. The chip is entirely developed in China (indigenous development) and is positioned as a direct counterpart to the NVIDIA H20, designed to operate under export restrictions. The M100 targets high-performance computing and training of AI models, including support for large language models. Specific specifications have not yet been disclosed, but it is known that the chip has already passed the testing stage and is being prepared for mass production. This is an important step in reducing China's dependence on imported chips in the AI field.
