AMD estimates AI accelerator market at $1.4 trillion by 2030, compares to whole semiconductor industry

AMD CEO Lisa Su stated that by 2030, the AI accelerator market will reach $1.4 trillion, equaling the current size of the entire semiconductor industry. She also expects the server processor market to grow from $25 billion to over $200 billion in four years.
AMD CEO Lisa Su, at a corporate event in San Francisco, estimated the AI accelerator market to be worth $1.4 trillion by 2030, noting that this figure would match the size of the entire semiconductor industry in its current state. According to her, last year the computing solutions market grew to $365 billion and will reach at least $2 trillion by 2030. The AMD chief also predicts the server CPU market will grow from $25 billion to over $200 billion within four years, attributing this to the rise of inference and an increase in the number of agents from millions to billions. Lisa Su stated that every major cloud provider will use the latest EPYC Venice generation server processors, which are in mass production, and emphasized that demand for them is high.
