AgroEco and Timiryazev Academy test Russian AI for early detection of lameness in cows
Agroholding AgroEco, together with the Timiryazev Academy, has begun testing a domestic AI system capable of detecting lameness in cows before external symptoms appear.
The agricultural holding 'AgroEco' together with the Timiryazev Academy has launched trials of a domestic artificial intelligence system designed to detect lameness in cows at an early stage, even before visible symptoms appear. The system analyzes animal movements using cameras and neural networks, which allows timely detection of limb problems and reduces economic losses from livestock diseases. The development is carried out as part of import substitution in the agricultural sector.
