Google DeepMind의 WeatherNext, 사이클론 경로와 강도를 동시에 예측

Google DeepMind는 WeatherNext Cyclones (WN-C)라는 AI 시스템을 도입했습니다. 이 시스템은 특수 모델보다 더 정확하게 열대성 사이클론의 경로와 강도를 예측하며, 약 하루 더 미래를 내다봅니다. 대략 100배 더 거친 격자 셀 데이터를 사용함에도 불구하고 기존 모델을 능가합니다. 이 접근 방식은 Functional Generative Networks를 사용하며, National Hurricane Center 및 다른 파트너와 공동 개발되었습니다.
