Updated Alexa Plus Gets Expanded AI Capabilities for Smart Home Control
Amazon launches an update to Alexa Plus that lets the AI assistant connect to smart home devices from Bosch, Delta, Ecovacs, iRobot, and others. The new integration uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI toolkits to support complex commands, such as selecting a washing machine cycle.
