Travis Kalanick's Robotics Company Raises $1.7 Billion with a16z Participation

Robotics company Atoms, founded by Travis Kalanick, raised $1.7 billion in a funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz. Other investors include Bain Capital, Fifth Wall, and Uber. Kalanick stated that the funds will go towards developing the robot platform and continuing the 'bits-to-atoms' cycle.
